Hi,
i'm working on audio & video project,
with a different video on each section of the grid.
works well, but with some troubles sometimes...:

- nearly each time i switch from one section to another,
the video shows for a very short moment the first images of the film that was playing.
so i've puted a small black at the start of each film, but sometimes it still shows some images when skipping.

- sometimes, rarely, some videos doesn't start.
- sometimes image freezes for instants

in a general maner, is there points to take care of for best results in video+audio?
(out of corresponding frame rate)

CPU never goes over 35/40% with samples & effects,
all videos are 1920x1080 or 720x576, 25i
MBP 15' 2010, 2,4Gh, 4Go, SSD

any thought? obviously when the time will come to show in public, freezing etc won't be an option!

Sections are in loop mode ?
do you switch manually or the grid do the job ?

yes sections are in loop mode,
with no loop in video
and i switch with button of midi controler

and have you test if you have the same issue when using only the mouse to pass to next section ?

(you can also check in the trace what your controller send really , cause sometimes not easy to difference button and switch modes and this can confuse Usine)

and differents button - now it uses sends notes

Ok,
maybe this will not suit your needs, but instead of using one section by video, what about using only one section and create a video list in the player ?
Then use the midi learn on the next inlet of the player ?

good workaround idea - i'll give it a try and let you know. thanks!
