temporarily disable grid automation for specific parameters?

Is there a way to disable individual automation items in the grid?

Heres the scenario,
I have a filter being automated, but during a performance I want to stop the automation and do it manually via an assigned midi controller. Then I want to go back to the original automation for that particular parameter.

I know I can disable the whole grid item via the inspector, but thats no use during live performance, plus I need individual automation items selected and deselected, and a midi controller assigned to do this.

sorry for answer delay,
currently not possible directly in the grid, maybe a candidate for the suggestion forum.
workaround if possible: create this automation by patching ( with a line module for ex:) and add a pass/stop switch you can midi learn?
