Hello everyone,

I'm a electro-acoustic composer and I work on a musical composition with real time. I need your help to be able to synchronize my sound file with the grid automation. I would like to know where I am in my sound file at the second or millisecond near to write as correctly as possible my automations curves.

Thank you in advance for your answer.

hi,

I think that the best way is to split your sound file into several parts and put them into usine as separate patches samples.
Then, put them on the grid in separated sections and activate the option 'sync to sampler' and 'section sync'. You'll be able to create more precise automation curves.

you can take a look to the grid video tutorials.

Hi !
Use markers with your sampler player, then the current marker number +1 will set the grid position.
make sure the rack that contain the sampler player is outside the grid automation
