Hi I just downloaded hollyhock 3, when I try to open it it crashes immediately. I haven't bought it yet, I wasn't sure if there was a demo mode. So, is there a demo mode? Is it normal for the software to behave this way since I haven't bought a license yet?

No, that's obviously not normal. There're no limitations or time restrictions without license/activation, just a nag screen that shows up when you load workspace or occasionally start/stop engine.
What's your OS?

Hello and happy holidays,
Moving the application to the desktop has resolved the issue, thanks and apologies for not seeing that in the manual. I did glance at that but was focused on looking for something about a demo mode that I missed what was right in front of my face. Looking forward to digging in tonight.
