Hello guys :)

It's been a while,

Is it possible to create an arranged looping performance patch? something like the ALK software by ZenAud.io ?

Hi.

i didn't know ALK. i read the video on the web site, it seems to be a wonderfull looper.

I imagine you can do something like that in Hollyhock. With ALK you need to know your music structure. So, if you know the structure you can try with the Grid.

For exemple :

you put a rack with a sampler in loop mode, on the first line of the grid. You can patch your sampler to record the audio IN you need, you can quantize the record on the bar or cycle. You can automaticaly stop to recording at the end of a cycle. etc. Then, the sampler will play it in loop until your rack is present on the line of the grid. So you put the Rack on the first line, for 24 bar, and your loop will play for 24 bar.

It is a first step, but with some work you can patch that you dream.

I hope it will help you.
