Playing a video file backward

Is it possibe with the video file player to have a fader that can allow to play the video backward to normal ?

you have to use motion-jpeg codec, then you can access to each frame an any time, and play a video backward with for example a lfo.

you can find a tool to change the compression format in /setup/video/convert-video-to-motion-jpeg
