Hi all.
I work with a Korg NanoKontrol for a long time. It is very useful when i need to bring it in a bag. But the faders are very cheap and short.
I need a better fader system for a new live project. I love the FaderFox Mix Controller MX12, but it is too much expensive for me in this time and i can't find a second hand.
There are some BCF 2000 at low cost, but it will be not compatible with my next MacBook Pro !
Did some one work with the Behringer Xtouch ?
Some idea about a fader controller to work with Hollyhock in Live ?
Thank you

yes, long fader+motorized+cheap is a hot combinaison !
i know senso has the behringer xtouch, maybe he can tell you,
I also see the Kenton Control Freak Studio Edition , but old system and never have tried it
A Launchcontrol XL can be the cheapest solution i see right now, specially if you change the caps

My friend has something like a nano kontrol for live keyboard playing.
I have a touchscreen laptop and Usine !!
But I know sometimes you need tactile physical knobs.
When there are 3D morphing screens where knobs grow out of the screen,
I hope Usine will support it

thank you.
The problem with Launchcontrol XL is that it is not easy to have a feedback from HH to turn-on the light when button are active.
I already have a Lauchcontrol (not XL) and i need to patch each switch and button to turn on the light when button are active.
But you are right, it should be the cheapest solution.
I am waiting Senso feedback about Behringer Xtouch.
Thank you.

Someone could confirm that it is possible to change the faders of the Launch Control and replace them by traditional mix console faders ?
Thank you.

I didn't know but i find it on the web. Impossible to find a dealer in my area to test it. There isn't any information about the motors noise. i remember a guy who worked with Icon control surface. And it was very noisy. He should unplug the alimentation to stop the motorised faders ...
Do you have any experiences whith it ?
Thank you.

About caps, i don't know what you see as "traditional mix console " but here a Buchla type caps faders on mine+ different knobs.
Faders caps are really more precise than original ones this way for me.

Yes, really easy on launchcontrol XL,
i have done it too on some nanoKontrol, but you need to add a small piece of hot wire before
