Player Start Position

Hello,

I want to set an offset , to "shift" the start position of a rythmic sample using normal sample player. I can't find how to do that.
I don't want to use crossfade loop player because th grid (of the sample player) is useful for me to set my new start position.
I hope it's clear.
Thank you

If i understand correctly, and starting from the patch you obtain when you drag a sample/normal player:

Thank you for your quick answer. This way will reduce the length of the loop but I want to keep the original duration.

Hello,
Yes I've tried but it's the same problem, reducing the sample loop to the length between two markers.
What could be fine also is to "snap" markers on grid lines otherwise it's not very convenient

Something else: it seems that cross fade looper is not working properly: on start it's not looping , you have to activate [play loop] in the menu, but
moreover it's not starting from or looping between the markers. Or I'm missing something?

Could you explain us what do you want to do exactly ?

Using normal sample player, I want the start position of a sample being on, for example if it's a rythmic sample, second beat .
Not starting from the beginnig of the sample but looping on the whole sample anyway. Maybe it's not possible with this player
but it seems, for me, to be a very basic function.

@Joffo78: thank you for the patch. It's almost the right solution. But as the player reads first a small part of sound, than jump to the marker, we hear a click.
It's really audible if the maker is set in a low level part of the sample.
