first of all,I use an est maya 4/4 sound card and a dual core 2giga laptop.
I folowed the quik start manuel, the asio driver simes to be recognized in the setup but I can t get any incomming signal from my cd player in the master imput panel. Just note that the sound passes thru the sound card , and I can listen to the cd with or without usine s soft.
can someone advice me, cause I m a live sound man and I m not used with sound softs

does Usine work at all? Do you get sound out through your soundcard, for instance when playing one of the demo workspaces that are included with Usine? If Usine recognises the ASIO driver, you should be able to turn on the audio engine, and even if you can't hear anything, at least some meters would flash, and the synchro bar/beat be updated if you have it running (it's the large triangle/arrow in the dashboard).
IIRC, Usine defaults to use 1 stereo in and 1 stereo out, so you have to go to the audio in/out tabs of the setup window to configure other in-/output routings. Maybe you've connected the CD player to the second stereo input?
