Midi Learn from midi bus

As it is now, it seems that the midi learn function takes the midi data only from the global midi input, It would be cool to be able to modify the midi data (transpose etc) before it arrives to the midi learn function. This would allow to expand the use of some midi controllers.
Maybe In the global setup, midi learn mode, a "learn from midi bus" feature could added.
Thanks.

Yes, I agree it would be usefull to be able to manipulate CC values etc. before the leaned control. This can be done with a few VST's that directly capture the midi port and sends to the midi to usine module but native would be best. (midi feedback is also not possible with the VST's.
waiting for that , you can insert for example, midi filters or ChMsg Transformer patch ( from bsork pack ) between midi in module and send midi to Usine module...?
right nay the send Midi to Usine module is designed exactly for that purpose.

But you cannot block the unaffected CC's from the midi input in setup so there is aconflict between the original midi CC and the affected midi CC when modifying CC's and sending to Usine via module...Am I wrong?
I can't, of course don't imagine all situations, but if you want midi learn Usine elements , you can use the remote panel to manually assign the good one and if it's for midi learn on vst/vsti you can use a different midi canal and filter this one before it..?

Well i tried a few days ago with the send midi to usine and it didn't work for what i wanted to do, i just tried again to make sure, i think gurulogic is right, weird things happen when using the midi to usine for that purpose.
Edit : i'm afraid entering the values manually in the remote panel does not change the issue, the "midi to usine" still seems to be interfering with the global midi input so basically it might work once, and it might not work the next time.
I'm just using : midi input > midi transf > midi to usine
If i monitor the values of the midi control change in the midi to usine module, they are not stable.

be careful about feedback..
i mean if your midi controller send on canal 3,filter the canal 3 in your midi in and use another canal to the midi to usine module, if not, the midi in module will also receive the transformed message..:

Okay, thank you very much for the guidance, i got it working with the filter and other canal !!
The midi learn is still only reading the midi data from the input, but we have a nice workaround.
