Files:
- Browser: right click on an element open a menu " open the folder containing this file in a new windows"
Midi:
-Rack/or midi track only mode: midi rack option like "all midi ouputs from the upper patch except num virtual and midi bus are sent to the downside patch. Only the last patch sends its midi ouput to the mixer. In this mode , several switches on the mixer ouput to filter midi channels. Plus full midi routing on the ouput: direct Output / Send to track Number/ Send to usine.
-More swicthes for midi on the mixer input ( possible if a special "midi track only" is build: no more space required to show the gain, vu meter of audio input).
-More num virtual ouput port ( user defined in the global setup??) and / or possibility to filter and distinguish "num virtual" from external midi message in the Midi Input module.
Interface:
-In grid Mode, possibility to hide or show the ouput mixers. Just let Play / Mute / Solo visible. Useful for little screen. Also let big patch control panel entirely visible without moving the grid.(Edit, perhpas I have to go more deeply in IB mode about this suggestions. I never use it ).
Some suggestions and ideas.
yes it can be usefulmoody33 wrote:Files:

yes It's logical to implement this.-Rack/or midi track only mode: midi rack option like "all midi ouputs from the upper patch except num virtual and midi bus are sent to the downside patch. Only the last patch sends its midi ouput to the mixer. In this mode , several switches on the mixer ouput to filter midi channels. I understand but alway a mater of design. .. and the interface design is often the most time costly.More swicthes for midi on the mixer input ( possible if a special "midi track only" is build: no more space required to show the gain, vu meter of audio input).
yes I was also thinking about it.More num virtual ouput port ( user defined in the global setup??) and / or possibility to filter and distinguish "num virtual" from external midi message in the Midi Input module.
yes probably it's time to switch into the IB mode!In grid Mode, possibility to hide or show the ouput mixers. Just let Play / Mute / Solo visible. Useful for little screen. Cool senso !
I was also thinking to one thing about midi output:
-A way to choose and filter midi output message coming from usine internal .
Example: Imagine you use an external hardware you are controlling with usine only for control change , but NOT for midi notes or sequencing since the external hardware could be played by it's internal sequencer, or even played by another musician continuing to play while you load your workspace. You need to stop usine to download another workspace. Once load, you press ON and usine send it's internal reset message ( all sound off; all note off, etc ) to the hardware and stop its sounds.
This message are very well implemented and it's a good idea, but in certain situation like in my example, it could be very disturbing. That's why I also think that a Master Midi track output with internal message filtering capabilities could be the icing on the cake !
If I'm not clear , let me know I will send you a mail in french
