Would it be difficult to wrap DXI effects or instruments in Usine ?

The only one that I found is Console, which is in fact an modular host, no so sophisticated as Usine. It can be load as vst effect or instrument.

Hi Stanlea.
Console
can be load as vst effect or instrument
I did not remember that Console could be a VST.
Do you really mean that you can plug it in Usine?
...And plug DXI VSTs in Console?
So... What about DXI in Console and Console in Usine?

Yes sir, it works ! I can play some DXI synths in Usine with Console. Download the demo and try by yourself, it's amazing. I have some interesting DXI things that I had when I bought Sonar Home Studio, now I can use them anywhere.

My synth (Moog Modular, Absynth, Reaktor) work either in DXI/rtas/VST, so I did not try the DXI setup. What exactly is the difference?
Console was nice, but I met Usine almost in the same time and made my choice... Sometimes it crashed. I don't really like the idea of a crashing soft when I'm on stage... But it was nice.

In fact, it's useful when you want to use something which is DXI only. The interest of Console is that it loads DXI besides VSTs. Maybe very few people need to do such a thing.

Message received. Only effects, so at this time, I stay with Console, but I don't know if it's worth buying it... almost the same price as Usine, not so powerful. Maybe the trial version, without saving would be enough for me, if I manage well my presets. For the effects, I can use Vincent burrell's rack.
