copy/paste is ok for me.
there is no way to copy and paste a grid line as far as i know unless i am missing something.
only the grid rack elements can be copied.
if you have lets say a bunch of racks and you are just changing presets with the gird copying the whole grid line and adjusting the presets would be easier. Also i have to always set each grid line manually i cannot copy a grid line from one that is previously set up. i think it would improve the workflow if you could duplicate a grid line.

My first intuition that I had when I saw the grid was a panel that I knew from Renoise. I think it would be nice to have a kind of drag and drop to rearrange the lines in the grid, and ctrl+drag to copy a line.
Another feature from Renoise that could be useful for Usine's grid, is muting a rack temporarily by clicking the mousewheel or the right mouse key on it. Here some more inspiration for extending the grid's features: http://tutorials.renoise.com/wiki/Pattern_Sequencer The looping function that's described in their manual is also very useful.
