markers and regions for the grid

Hi,
It would be nice to have markers and/or regions for navigating in the grid. When you have a lots of sections, it sometime difficult to find what you want.

Not so easy to find the best way to implement this.
But in the library there is a patch called /Usine Panels/Grid List which can do a good job in your case?
