modular wires handling

Unread post by drakh » 11 Oct 2021, 12:16

Hello,
modular feature is so cool. but there is one thing, if there are more wires connected to modular i/o modules it is impossible to choose exact wire to disconnect, i think some handler in the middle of this wire with right click to disconnect (similar to normal "patch" wires) would be really helpfull

I had this problem in the patch editor window with normal wires.
Eventually I realised you can delete a wire by dragging one end to the other in the same way used to create a link.
If the link exists it will be deleted.
I've not used modular wires (going from HH3 straight to HH5) but can they be deleted as I just described ?

Hello,

For modular wires, you can clic on a wire connection will select the wire, then you could move it to another connection or anywhere to delete it. If you have several wires on a connection, clic several time to select the wire you want to edit.

In the patch, shift-clic on an inlet to select the wire and move it or delete it.
If you need to wire several similar outets to similar inlet, ie stereo audio out to stereo audio in, ctrl-shift-clic on the first outlet, drag and drop to the first inlet, two wires are created. Also available for more than two wires.
