Hello,
I know I've already seen this suggestion in a topic but I can't find where.
My goal is to have the master interface builder covering the whole screen, and an indication of at least the actual preset song + song to come shown in the interface (the big conductor view is too limitated). No need to have the controls, just the titles.
mmmm, possible?
Thanks

you can get the current song displayed in the conductor. but not the song to come, I think. You can control drag from the conductor object to get a list object with all the presets in it, but I don't think it keeps working correctly if you add to or reorder your presets.

I was just about to +1 your suggestion of naming conductor banks. We're both writing about the conductor at the exact same moment, here. hmmm!

I hope these ideas will soon show up in a 4.1 beta!!

In live situation, it's very usefull to know the song to come while performing, for a quick and clean transition. A "song+1" pin would be enough... and the perfect solution a "show in interface builder" for the lite conductor view :)

It seems we're following the same newbies path ;)

I never know what song is coming next, as gogoLab's shows are 100% improvisation. That's why I like to be able to scroll through a big list of presets, so I can think about where I want to go next! And I'm always saving new presets while I'm playing, whenever I get some really great sound/control combination.

In my other bands, I have presets for songs, but nobody ever sticks to the set list 100%..... It IS going to be nice to be able to drag and drop to reorder songs in these cases, though! Reordering presets in reaktor is way too complicated.

Just a bump for a touchscreen object that will show ALL the conductor presets in a bank.

I can live with 20 presets per bank, and lots and lots of banks, but it's not ideal. I'd rather banks were meaningful, and not limited in size.

Thanks!

It looks like you have a multiple element input solution for comboboxes, is that what CommaText is?? I like this!!!!!!!! It will simplfy my layout a great deal!

What is the limit to the length of this input? Maybe you could put a commaText output on the conductor....

.but I seem to recall a 256 character limit on text inputs..... is that still true?

ooh, I was hoping I'd see a commaText patch output on VSTis.

But I guess that would run afoul of the text length limit, too.
