Hi
on a workspace I'm working, I've put an effect on the Master out...but then, opening other workspaces, I noticed that the same effect was on their Master Outs...so I think that in Usine we have only a Master Out, affecting every workspace;
instead, I'd like that every workspace had is own Master Out, ...or I'm missing something?
thanks
Independent master out
In my mind the master section is designed to manage effects which have to be independent of the workspace.
For example,
- you are working with a singer and you need an EQ and a compressor on the input voice. The EQ is generally fixed and doesn't change during all the concert.
- generally we put a global EQ on the master Out to equalize the diffusion PA system.
- manage the monitoring on stage .
- the master volume is fixed
that's why the master section must be independent of the wkp.
but if you need more complex things you can load our save the master?

Yes, I agree it's useful to have an independent master out...
my problem is that sometime I could put some effects on a specific workspace's master out, and then forget about it...then later I could open some other workspace, and find that it sounds different;-)
Maybe we could have some option on the master out, like a "Make it default" button ? or "Apply only to this workspace" ?
