-Loop recording so you can keep recording a pass untill you get it right. As it is now the playhead just keeps going and going while recording, even with playback loop mode set.

-Recording of midi CC curves from midi input. I have tried, nothing seems to happen.

That's the important stuff, but a complete overhaul of the piano roll with tons of nifty editing/midi manipulation features and multiple tracks wouldn't hurt any ;-)

There also seems to be inconsistancies between the control panel quantize settings and the interface quantize settings, as in things get goofy if they are both set.

just want to drop another piano-roll nag message.
for me its the still a major reason that i cannot use my pianoroll skills in usine.
tried to make some beats yesterday again, and its just painful.

sorry, to sound so negative. in fact, usine is a wonderful software and its a shame there is no fully automatable pianoroll/pattern vst

Wait... there's got be... hmm. I guess I never looked since I can just open FL in Usine as a VST, or the other way around.

to be precise what I'd love to have: choose patterns by hardware control
principally live, xt 1.x and phrazor can do this. FL too?
thing is, i'd love to have a contemporary roll in usine cause u can go so much further (loop point manipulation, etc.) - which would let one design midi composing facilities as they are around for hardware since a long time (eg. octopus, RS7000, etc.).
on the other hand one could experiment with designing own step seqs in usine of course. thoughi still stick to the well known piano roll, i am used to it and its effective.

ok, guess thats enough update-crybaby for the next few months ;)

Sorry to bring up such an old thread but I would like to add that it would be nice to be able to import and / or drag and drop midi files into the piano roll.
