adjusting size of combo popup in IB

Senso:

you said there is a way to adjust the overall size of the popup display in the IB, but I can't find it. I don't want a scroll bar unless the window is too large to fit on my screen. But regardless of the item height and width, I'm still getting a scroll bar at the bottom of some windows that could easily fin onscreen.

I think we need parameters for number of columns, and number of rows, in addition to item height and width.

And actually, a scrollbar in touchscreen mode is not very usable at all. It would be nice to have the option to replace it with prevPage and nextPage buttons

you can adjust the layout options:

touchscreen item height
touchscreen item width

only if the touch-screen mode is activated in the setup/interface

yes, but you can't select how many rows or columns to display, and it seems to be random how many usine creates.

or am I misunderstanding???

usine try to calculate the best possible organization.
you re right you can't adjust it but only the size of items.

It seems like the calculations could use some adjustment then, because sometimes I get a very small window with a scrollbar and other times I get a window so tall I can't reach the scrollbar at the bottom. In both cases, there is plenty of room on the screen to show all the items.

You might want to experiment a little more with lists that have many items. 127 is a typical amount for vstI presets.

for very large number of items things can be tricky, especially if there is no room on the screen to display all of them in touch screen mod,
I'll take a look to find a way to improve this behavior.
