Hi.

Reverse on piano roll is great.
But, usine always send a 0 value for velocity on Note Off ( or is it the fault of my keyboard roland pc-180A ? )
So, when you have done your record on the piano roll and you click on the reverse switch, Note Off are then send with a velocity of 127 ! So, it's not really usable in my opinion.
Any suggestion or advice?

Oliver, if the problem come from usine, could you do something with NoteOff velocities?

Thanks.

havent time to test the 0 or 127 noteOff velo thing.
yes, reverse is very kewl. afaik the first nice vst solution :)

are you sure your pc-180A does send note off velocity? in fact very few keyboards do.
further note off or release velocity isnt the same as aftertouch. while aftertouch is the pressure used on the key while releasing it, note off velocity would be the speed of releasing a key.

note off velocity is as poly aftertouch hardly ever integrated in a keyboard. therefore you might forget about it.

probably your keyboard because usine pianoroll sends midi event as they are recorded.

with Usine I'm sure you can make a patch which change the NoteOff velo into what ever you want:

create a sub patch,
add
- midi in (unpack activated)
- midi filter (note off)
- create midi message (to change the velo)
- midi out
