Hello Olivier and Usiners,

A request for future..."adaptation" Seq Piano roll to Drum edit

When you drag a midi file in sequencer track a litle windows box ask : Piano roll or Drum edit ?
the drum edit window news options in files menu :
Load drum map
Save drum map
New drum map
For those 3 features just a "board" with two columns, one for midi number and name notes and another to
choice the name of instrument ( EX: C1 -- KICK), just 5 letters for the name. I think its sufficient.

It will be fine if workspace keeps the mode of each midi files loaded in workspace.

Another idea for drum edit mode:
The midi files selector (top windows) contains 16 locations (for 16 midi files).
The number 16 could be "BREAK" .
I explain operation mode :
EX: before you need to load 1 midi file in LOCATION1 an another midi file in BREAK LOCATION
Usine is playing the midi file (LOC 1) and it receive a midi break message.
Usine stop playing all midi drummer patch (all in workspace) then plays all midi files (LOC BREAK)
at the current reading position (if some patch have not midi notes in LOC BREAK no sound for those patch.
Break(s) are playing until the end of patches, after the LOC1( the location that playing before break) is playing
again (if there is a loop marker in ruler) .
I think it is not necessary to have quantize snap to change betwen one location and break location
because it is possible to have the "same" midi file in LOC 1 and LOC BREAK, just change a part of LOC BREAK.

Sorry for my poor english, I hope we understand what I said .......and I wait your comments....
I think those options for sequencer mode , sorry I dont know for Live and Grid mode....

Hello Olivier,
Yes the roller seqencer is GOOD module but it does not good for me.
I want to load midi file(s) like piano roll sequencer module, it is just for modified my drum files more easly (with name of
instruments), no step ......I want to put midi event where I want , and the longer of midi file is a longer of patch.
After this module I connect EZDRUMMER or ADDICTIVE DRUMS

And a break mode like old rytmics box is just a dream....

thanks

you need to upload your picture to a webloaction first. you can use for example http://imageshack.us/ (free, and they generate the link for you)

manually: enclose the image web location with IMG tags

like this:
(img)http://www.sensomusic.com/images/ssStep ... .jpg(/img)

replace '(' and ')' with '[' and ']'
