if not too complex would be cool to be able to set "virtual nb" in midi in in subpatch like the topparent patch midi in.

im may better deal with channel filter also but if not wrong would allow x8 more filtering options. (if not increase data flows/cpu)

though this could be more clear when you have several midi controller, if they remain the same in the setup we could affect them a nb in global setup and filter midi data in subpach with that number, while keeping ability to use all 16ch. actually filtering in top parent patch decrease readability and has to be linked to each subpatch... not drastic but might be improved?

The main idea behind usine is to keep patches independent from the external devices (as much as possible)
that's why it's actually like that.
I don't know if it's possible easily to do that because midi flow doesn't contain informations from the original device.
I'll think about it.

well just add a dispatcher on top parent patch and few pass modules do the job so no worry I guess midi data flow should remain the same. was just in case the info was kept but not used..
