Ya'll might find this of interest - the Windows 7 Tablet PC API and Touch SDK(as in multi-touch and gestures).

I just got myself a Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch for making GUI elements for my wireless multi-touch prototype and it turns out the tablet may be of use for music, too.

I'm training Win7's Speech Recognition tonight to get a feel for voice commands and dictation as I'll be using Bluetooth audio to issue voice commands to my device. I can't imagine it'd be all that hard to use Usine's upcoming SDK to implement compliance with that surprisingly useful feature... it's really nice when you've got your hands filled with an instrument but you have leftover brainpower to simply speak into a headset mic.

Is it possible to get the pressure-sensitive datas ? It's working fine with Photoshop, but I can't find it with the "mouse module"
thanks

I own a Wacom Intuos 5 Pen and Touch tablet and use it to control gran samplers with HH2. I need to use Max with a dedicated object for that (s2m.wacomtouch), sending data to Usine by OSC link. The good point with the Max object is that Windows can't get the tablet data avoiding unwanted clicks, selections or so. The bad point is that Max has to be the forefront app all the time to catch the tablet data. Not so handy when playing live.
Is there any chance to get such a module directly into HH2 in the future ?

the touch sdk is already fully implemented for many years now.
But the Wacom like tablets need a specific implementation.
The main problem is that they are many manufacturer and each have a specific API.
Did you try the HID devices module?

Thanks Senso, but as you know the main problem is to get rid of the "mouse" fonction while receiving the tablet Data. But it is just a detail, there is other ways to solve the problem.

By the way,
Intuos tablet is working fine with the mouse module (without pressure data), but not with the HID devices module : you can see it but you can't connect the tablet.
