I've got it so the IB opens when I startup, but I still have to put it in fullscreen mode every time.

Could we get control for that? Then I could also stop displaying the buttons.

yes, it can be implemented very easily.

implemented:
the midi learn will be allowed on all the buttons and elements of the navigation bar.
next release.
