i use a lot steps for track faders, or to control multiple single parameters ,that would be cool to be able to differentiate steps via their own color, ie via an arrayin. As a workaround i could feed some bmp of matrix, but only affect the bg,(a maybe simpler solution could be to be able to inverse transparency so that steps are transparent)..or maybe a next matrix could display some faders...Since it also handles captions..
Probably not a high priority, but if not too complex, some reflexions around this..

more complex than appear but I'll put it in my TODO list.
