Hi,
my suggestion is simple. What do you think to place conductor lite on the right of the console, all the time visible,

Wouldn't that be rather annoying for those that don't use it?

you have the auto-show option in the conductor lite.
also the window position is memorized.
I'm sure it will do the trick!

like the sequencer is annoying if you don't use it??
I think a nice suggestion would be to allow the toolbar to be customized, like most other software (word, photoshop, etc)......
On my monitor, there would be plenty of room for the conductor. But I don't really need it either.

Point taken - sorry...:/
But aside from what Senso has already mentioned: As you can create your own personal interface for just about anything in Usine, is there really any need for customizing the standard GUI?

probably not
Although somebody just asked for it.....
For me, I wish I could change the conductor layout. I write presets in live performance, and the lettering is so VERY small..... and there is no other place or way to name presets, right?
Until we get an 'EditableTextfield' module and a 'current preset name' input on the conductor module.....

The idea most interesting for me would be to allow the toolbar to be customized sequencer and /or conductor, like suggest woodslanding. Whatever you do it's your interface, composer music, just improvising ... in each time it's not the same applications, the same needs.

As said bsork you can recreate almost all the interface of Usine with "/interface control/Usine panel" modules.
I prefer this solution than hard coding into Usine itself.
It's more flexible even if it's can be harder.
