No a bug but a fact
I start Usine 2.75 with an empty workspace.
CPU : 1%
MEM : 29%
This is what I get on the two laptops with XP pro and 1Go

Then I try the same thing on the big one with Vista premium and 2Go
and i get :
CPU : 0%
MEM : 51%

I just recall that it's an empty workspace with no patch loaded.

So first how does it work ? and secondly, I work with large samples
(1 minute) X 10 + many samplers with one or two shorts files
to use it as instruments (midi in)....and the system become unstable with a memory at 95 .
So is there a possibility to reduce
my memory consomation, and to improve my system.
Any allready topics about it ?

Thanx my friends

Paul

Usine 2.75 is a beta version.
Not really "official"
Of course it's not normal to have '29% MEM' on a 1 Go system and 51% on 2Go...
The main problem is that I can't test Usine on Vista because I don't have it...

In the sampler module there is a new parameter which set the memory allocation for the recorded waves.
If you don't use the sampler as a recorder (just file reader) set this value to the minimum (1sec).
