IB suggestion

Hi
When two patches are one over the other in IB mode, would that be possible to have a way to say "this one is allways on top" or something like that ?
As the patche's shape is rectangular, I happen to have empty space in some patches and can't get them all to fit in the screen. If one could specify wich one is on top that would be a space saving possibility ! Is it something possible or a really long shot ?
