one thing i use all the time in studio one pro is its small "feature"called channelmode its just a small "switch"thats on all tracks that lets you select of you will have the sound playing in mono or stereo

could something like that be available in a future version?

probably not because Usine is not only mono or stereo but also up to 32 channels...
So in Usine the mono/stereo concept is very very particular case.
