Hi all,
Given that
some non-realtime processors already exist in HH2 I was wondering if any smart codey types would consider building a CDP patch / module.
They have been
made open source since last year.
Renoise users have already built
a highly functional module and there is one
on the way for REAPER.
For those who don't know this library is originally the work of
Trevor Wishart.
Here is another example of it in use.
I think it could be a valuable addition to HH2.
And while i'm at it - what happened to the C-Sound AddOn?

Looks interesting, thanks. Seems pretty deep, I might have to read up on it and try out the reaper front end. Have you used CDP much?
re Csound, you're probably aware of
cabbage to build vsts from csd files. I seem to recall that I had some luck with that in hollyhock 1 (maybe just the HH 32 bit version though, can't remember). That HH Csound addon was pretty cool and simple to use.

I've played around with it mainly via Sound Loom (stand-alone Mac GUI) and Soundshaper (stand-alone PC only GUI).
While the REAPER one is not integrated or functional enough for me yet, the Renoise one is totally competent - almost enough to entice me back to Renoise.
What is interesting with this stuff is the ability to batch process spectral morphs and file recombination that isn't feasible in real-time.
There is also a lot of "Wavelet" stuff that the Muff Wigglers get excited about - I don't really know what that is

Thanks for reminding me. I haven't tried Cabbage but I recall giving up on the Csound for Live stuff.
I tried the Csound addon for Usine 5 I think - it actually seemed to work!

It's a good candidate for a user module made by the community?
