So i am experiencing some weird GUI perofrmance with usine 64 bit (win10 64 bit, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA NVS5400M GPU 1G dedicated memory, latest nvidia drivers 353.62, integrated intel GPU is completly disabled in bios so no optimus mode)
This screenshot shows my workspace and performance graphs obtained with process explorer.
This is screenshot when usine was runing in CPU mode - hardware acceleration was turned off. the peak in green graph is when all racks were open. CPU meter in usine was showing something around 60%. even the workspace is CPU heavy (lot of CPU heavy plugins running in racks). the performance was good.
And now my default state usine in GPU mode - hardware acceleration turned on. The same workspace. when all racks were collapsed the performance was good, and the levels on performance graphs were the same as in CPU mode. But when i opened even one rack i get audio dropouts, CPU meter in usine on 98% even when one rack was opened, and you can see there is no heavy GUI in that rack. just some switches. the peaks on graph were jumping on and off. to open another rack was like killing usine totally.
funny that system CPU metering is showing lower numbers on CPU usage in comparison of that Usine CPU usage meter.
