Smooth Start Position Marker and Position - Samplers

I'd like to see the Start position and position markers smoothed out so that they do not cause static.
If you play a sample and then force the start position to push the position it causes tons of static and pops.
Would be nice to have this clean, like being a scrub wheel.

there is jog patch in the exemple folder. that does the trick isn't it ?

Hi Oli,
I am looking more for Loop Start/Stop to create a loop section, and then use this loop and scan through.
It seems if the start position marker pushes the position it produces a ton of static. Will have to look through and see if I can adapt the joggle.

what you could try is to block the advance of the loop section if the read position is < than the start position !

Thanks for the suggestion, I've been sipping coffee and tinkering a bit getting the brain gears going.
Using a grain sampler I can pass a faster speed if the mouse down and < a certain percentage of the start. Almost like though need to read the acceleration of the change of the start position to dynamically change the playback speed to stay ahead of the marker. Starting to show promise.
What I want is really someday for us to have seamless looping wherever we move the start/end. One good example of this is the collidoscope.

Still the moment I drive the position, or the marker touches the position the static or pop is induced.
I guess being able to drive the position has always been the one big thing that I want.
You have always helped with the joggles, actually used awhile back by altering the speed and worked sufficiently.
In this case though I think I am at the point where I think the sampler position should be able to be driven with a clear output.
Going to tinker a bit more, but I just cant seem to find a way around the artifacts from the positional being driven.
