I think it might be pretty helpful if we could get multiple windows of the same type.

Especially mixer windows. So we could for example put all drums in one mixer window, all percussions in another one,
all bus/aux racks in another one and so on and so forth.

Would help keeping things organized and tight.
not so easy. remember that everything has a cost in CPU and MEMORY.

Because of the small "channel-strips" it mit also be helpful to write the racknames vertical, like FL Studio does:
I'll try to improve the channel mixer item in this way. probably in HH3
(Also I would suggest to enable the ability to move channels around in the mixer like we can do in the rack. )
It's should be possible. In fact it's a bug.... will be solved in HH3
On a side note:
Multiple browser windows might also be helpful.
not a great fan of this idea... We try to keep Usine as compact as possible.
I would also suggest to enable resizing of the browser window.
Also it would basically eliminate 100000 clicks that when the browser is opened or a browser pane is switched that the
searchfield gets automatically highlighted, so that we can type right away without always
having to click into the search field.
the browser has been totally rewritten in HH3.
think that 90% of users never use the search field... the auto select will be a terrible option for them...

(or at least an ability to "tab" into the searchfield and "tabbing" between categories.
Theese are supercommon features of every browser ever written on any OS ever... :P :) )
I understand, I'll try to implement 'Tab' short cuts in the browser but the tab key is already used to hide all windows...
Remember that all ergonomics options are taken considering "live playing" not "patching process". in this way Usine is different than other softs.
