Adding cursor to the search input

It would be great if when you open the browser, the cursor would be ready to write for something over the search input.

An easy example could be Google. When you open the browser the cursor is ready to search.

Maybe I'm missing something, sorry in that case.

In fact it's not so clear for me because 90% of user (as I can see when teaching) never use the search field. So this option is for advanced user, who know what they are looking for.
So this option could be great for 10% of users and painful for 90%..so...
