Hey there,

wouldn't it be a good idea to have an "If selected" option on a rack
for filtering midi/keyboard commands?

(We already have "only IF active", so this would tie in nicely anyways.)

That way we could, for example, assign the same commands for mute/solo or next/prev preset
and always use the same keyboard shortcut or command.

(When you have a lot of assignments I find it hard to keep track of everything.
That would make remembering all the stuff much easier.)

What do you think? Maybe there is already a way to do this that I overlooked?

Thanks & best,
tL.

in the MIDI settings of an object, you 'll find an option, "only if rack is ON" is it what you're looking for ?

I suppose "only if rack is ON" means that only when it is ACTIVE (i.e. not bypassed), not when it is selected, right?
