fader text input available on parameter settings

I like how the text panel is available on the settings/parameters tab.
However, in some cases all I need is a comma text string and not a whole panel.
(I haven't confirmed yet, but I don't think comma text working properly on text panel).
In these cases I'd like to just just the fader text.
Instead of rearranging in my UI to find a space then entering on the UI and going back to the parameter settings to hide it.
Could there just be an inline text editor on the parameter settings just like the text panel?
