hi
is it possible to import an external *.script file into another script ?
(would be nice to make functions re-usable and clean up code which contains hundreds of lines ...)
cheers

hi manecante,
ctrl A + ctrl V...
I mean, if you use an external text editor like notepad++, who can manage multi-files, that could do the trick ?

We put a lot of effort in the upcoming V5 to make it clean, accessible and even more powerful
Hope it help
I think the script engine has no import/include functionality (have to be confirmed by Senso, or Bsork ?)manecante wrote:is it possible to import an external *.script file into another script ?

Just a through, but if you have pretty big script and begin to feel limited by the engine, maybe it's time to look into the SDK(would be nice to make functions re-usable and clean up code which contains hundreds of lines ...)

hello.
1st of all, I have to apologize for using manecante account to post here but as I'm not an Usine user (just helping her with some code), I thought it would be easier.
thanks for your answer Martignasse but working with multi-files in emacs is not an option (having an "import" functionality in scripts would be neat though...).
looking into the sdk is also a non-go as I have absolutely no idea about non-unix system, but I admit that it would be definitively better.
cheers,
_yvan
