Happy new year all usiners!

Trying to store Preset Manager into Conductor. (I think I have read a post about it but can't find it anymore)

I tried first just with one PM, this way :

num outlet PM-->Pass if Change -->Fader-->Pass if Change-->num Inlet PM

But does not work...also tried with a pass and a wait one cycle but not working neither, I don't undersand why..

And the most complicated part is when you want to store several PM in the conductor..

Thank's for your help.

If you can wait the V5, the preset number can be stored in the conductor with the "recall by conductor" option.

Very nice that the "recall by conductor" will work with several preset managers!

Until V5 how can we change our presets through the conductor?

I've been trying to figure out the preset manager but it's not working well. When I recall a preset from one of the 8 recall buttons it doesn't jump straight at the memorized preset but seems to go through 2 other presets before eventually settling on the stored one. Also when I try to store a preset (vst synth) let's say to the first location, this preset seems to get bumped to the second button when I try to store another preset to the button 2... ?? Is this normal behaviour?

I need to change all my synth's presets with one push of a button in live situation but I haven't figured out how to achieve that. To me this is quite basic bread and butter stuff for live performance, could someone point me in the right direction?

thank you

Hi Bovo,

Apart from the very strange behaviour of your preset managers which is not normal at all, here is a solution to recall them all with one click on your conductor.

You should for each one assign in the array editor which preset number you want to be recall , where the first row is the number of the conductor and the 2nd row the number of your preset manager.

And you must as well add a "getbus" module (with the same name as the "sendbus") connected to the inlet "num" of each preset manager.

Hope it helps,

Thanks manécante!
I got the preset manager recalling the programs correctly (from within the module itself at least), but haven't figured how to control it from the conductor.

I think i don't understand how the array module works... I patched as you instructed, so if I understand correctly:

The left row should correspond to the matching conductor's scene;
The right row would be the preset manager's value I want recalled when accessing the corresponding conductor's snaphots

Is that right?

For now, only the line with # 1 on the left has any effect on the vst preset. when I change the corresponding value (at the right of #1), the presets on my vst jumps to 3-4 different presets before settling for the right one and the array's value is reset to 0.

Changing the conductor scene has no effect on the presets for now.

Can someone enlighten me?

thanks
