Whats the input pin on the array do?
I dont seem to understand the explanation in the manual. if i send a value like 4.5 then a value like 5.2 will 4.5 go to the first pin and 5.2 to the seccond? does it just iterate through the number of values by pulses no matter what value is sent to it?

An array is a set of numeric value.
The input pin allows to display this set.
If you connect an audio output to the input you'll see an array of 64 value len of numeric value that correspond to the samples values.
If you connect a fader output, you display a single value len array that correspond to the fader value.

The array concept is basic now but will contains, in the future, some FFT and statitic tools.
In the add-ons you can download few modules that can help you to understand the concept.
