I'm trying to set up a sampler and piano-roll patch (for the VST-version) which starts at the right cycle position (where the play cursor is in Reaper) when I'm not starting on the 1-1-1. So for example if I start on the 3rd beat of the cycle the sampler or piano roll should start on this position too and then go into loop as in the cycle mode.
I've tried connecting the cycle-ppqPos of the master.syncro to the ppgPos of the piano roll and the red line then moves but I get only very small short-cut notes.
So I figured out that I should send the ppqPos only for a very short time and only when I press play. But how do I do that?
My idea was to connect the on-outlet of the master syncro to a pass-module(into the pass-inlet not the actual inlet) (which then passes the ppqPos to the piano roll) to trigger the passing of the cycle-ppqPos to the sampler/piano roll. But the value stays on 1 until I press stop again. How can send the value on for a short time and then turn of the pass again. So the pass-event happens only for a very small amount of time?
