Workspace preset manager instead of Conductor

Is the new Workspace Preset Manager supposed to do the same job than the old Conductor ?
If it is so, I must have forgotten something, because it doesn't seem to work.
I 'd like to record a preset with Rack & 2 ON, and Rack 3 OFF, then an other preset with Rack 1 & 3 ON, and Rack 2 OFF, but the settings can't be recalled.

Did I miss something ?

is the target = workspace. It works for me. Although i have had issues with some vsts.
