grid preset selection in vsts

i am trying to use the grid as a replacement for the conductor. before i get into all the magical things you can do with the grid i want to see if i can get it to do some basic scene recall with presets of vsts.

i have a combo box coming out of a vst that is populated with all the presets. In the grid i am able to see vst-program as a choice to modulate. I can get a fader that corresponds to the programs on the vst however the faders value only goes from 0-4. I cannot find where to increase the faders value so i can get more preset selections. It seems strange that it would be limited to 4. I must be missing something.

that is quite odd and happens to all list-style modules..*whispering*could be a bug*whispering*..initially they all have 4 entries, so eventually the data doesn't get updated..

right, ( you can add a bug report)
waiting for a fix, you can use a fader to set your combo box

I realize that even if you have correct numbers for the combobox, will not be easy to know which is the program number you want...
so you can create a patch like this one ( the script can be deleted, once done):
