In some cases I need to adjust my rear speakers in a quadraphonic setup to a different level than the front speakers, and then have a link switch to keep the front and rear speaker levels relative to each others difference via the front speaker volume control.
This seems it should be simple but I'm just not getting it. I think I must be spending too much time away from Usine between sessions.. Here is one of my attempts so far that doesn't work consistently. Faders are intended to control volume ranging from +12 to -80.

a quick idea without test:
a pass if change between the pass module and the rear fader..?

That doesn't do it. Main problem is every time I switch from no link to link, in a lot of different configurations I try, the rear volume is reduced. I did try setting my volume fader to only operate between -80 and 0 to avoid the +- math complications but still can't get something right.

what I generally do with my setups, ranging from 4 to 16 loudspeakers : separate volume for each zone then master volume.
