multitrack-recording: no signal on the tracks

Hallo,
I want to record additional outputs of my racks. The resulting file has an appropriate size and when i open it in Audacity there is the properly number of tracks. But there are no signals on these tracks though the Vu-Meters of the Out-panels of the racks indicate signal-levels.
Has anyone an idea, what i'm doing wrong?
Thanks
Tom

We needs more details on the way you use additional outputs
have you create some devices for them or use specific outputs of a multi sound card ?

Actually i haven't created some device for these Outputs, since i thought, that HH can record the outputs of any Rack (if it is dropped in the record panel). Previously I created a Output Device - with the result that I got unreadable record-files with sizes of exactly 44 Bytes each.
I didn't connect any of the outputs which i want to record with Outputs of my soundcard.
Below I post a screenshot of my rack with the regarding patch.

you mix several things here
this device module don't have to be in the patch, and i don't see why you use additional patch.
use 4 normal audio outs in your patch
then create a real device (you can read the chapter 13 in the manual if needed or ask any question you can have here)
then drag this new device on the rack output and delete the current stereo one
you can also directly drag this new device in the Direct2disk panel to record it

First of all my thanks for the very quick replies!
In fact i have persisting Problems.
When I provide my rack with normal outputs instead of additional Outputs (showed in first screenshot below) I have Signals in my file. But all four tracks have the same level though my Rack Outputs have different ones.
Then I tried it with creating a real device (as shown in second screenshot below). The result is a iregular file with just 44 Bytes (though the Vol-Meters of the Device show proper signal.levels).

confused
on the first screenshot i see 4 other audio outputs (hidden) What's that ?
in you device i see vu meters not your soundcard ?

here an example
the patch with only 4 outputs:

and the device patch opened with 4 outputs

The thing is, that I will/can not use Outputs for the record, that are connected to my Soundcard. I have to record Signals from different Module-outs within the patches. Below I post a simplified Diagram of my assignment.

Thanks a lot for your efforts!

ok, Usine need a device to record, but you can turn it off in the rack output ?
this way usine record the 4 channel in 1 file, but you don't have any signal in the sound card, is this what you need ?

Yes, thats exactly what I need.
And I think I have solved the problem now. Seems so that there were leftovers from previous attempts in the rack, which i didn't notice
Sorry!!
Once again: Thank you so much for your prompt answers and this aweful software! I tried a lot of VST-Hosts to realize my concept including VSTHost, Brainspawn Forte, Cantabile, Live Professor, Plogue Bidule ... No one did it. Always were functions missing to realize my ideas. Really great!!
