"coords out" of the draw trajectory module

Hi,
I use a lot this draw trajectory module. But there is one thing I don't understand about the "coords out" outlet (not explained in the wiki).
Why is this a three-dimention array?
I understand there is the X-dimention and the Y-dimention of each point of the drawn curve... but what else? Is this room for a Z-dimention?
