hi everybody,i just arrive, working for a little month with usine,it's cool...
my question:i made some patches by myself, looking in manual,on forums,or helped by a friend, but now i need maths to make more complex patches, how
can i learn to use it? how did you do to learn it??thanks...
how to learn maths?
The best way is to write down on a sheet of paper everything you need from the patch. This helps a lot in understanding clearly what you want.
The math involved is pretty straigthforward, but can be confusing when you start building complex operations: the best advice is (again) to write down the operation, then starting from the result (the "combination" of all operators), going backwards one level at a time.

I'm not sure you really need to learn math?
Maybe just a 'refresh' about concepts like 'Logarithms' often used in frequency calculations. Sometime basic trigonometric function like 'sinus', 'cosinus' can be used as well as logical functions like 'AND' 'NOT' 'OR', etc...
But for most of patches, we use basic maths.
