fading between vst/au plugin presets

Hi,

What is the recommended way to fade between plugin presets like in this video?

At the moment I'm using the following method, but it's pretty clunky:

- hook up all my plugin parameters to faders + pass if changed
- exclude the plugin itself from being saved as presets (otherwise, there is competing preset recall when fades are programmed)
-> so if, I change anything in the plugin interface, it gets bounced to the fader and stored in the patch preset

Is there an easier way?

you found an old video here !
one way is to create a display array module from the params outlets of your plug-in ( audio engine must be on)
and link this array to the input of the plug-in to obtain something like this:



Now use the preset manager of your patch to create presets and drag them to the grid and set fade duration for them
