It may already exist, but I couldn't find one. It would be really nice to have a simple MIDI to qwerty-key command converter, like Bomes' (but not necessarily that in-depth) in Usine just for simple tasks. I specifically want one because in Amplitube, there is no MIDI message assigned to changing presets, only a set of hotkeys. So, if I were to assign those to pedals on my FCB1010, I would have to have them convert to said key commands.

Is there any way to do this now, or how difficult would it be to implement? Thanks, and keep up the great work.

thanks for your feedback,
Yes it's an hard job because you have to create a new windows keyboard msg; can only be done with an access to deep (and dark) side of windows. So actually you can create patch or script to do that.
I'll take a look to see if I can implement a special function in the script engine.
But not now, I'm very busy with the VSTversion!!!

It's all good. I am more than happy with the abundant functionality in Usine as it is. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something that was already there. Thanks for the info, and best of luck with the VST version.

thehuman, you can try insertpizhere's qwerty to midi VST. It has some rather advanced features.

Hey cool, that looks good. I downloaded it, and I will give it a try when I get a free minute. Thanks for the tip.
