Hi guys. I have two preset managers in the same patch and workspace. One is for selecting songs and and their chracteristics. The other is to turn on and off different plugins that affect the selected song. How can I make them to work independently not affecting eachother, they're both working and apply their effect on the same workspace since the mentioned plugins are in different tracks and patches. The idea is to have them both working on their own.
Thanks.
two preset managers working independently
Depends on your workflow, do you use Grid? you could add racks/patches there so they're only active when they're active on grid (you could still manually turn them on, but the state will likely be reapplied if grid is playing section on the loop. you can also put preset activations there and even mix them.

Thanks for replying X.ISO. I'm not using the grid. My project is mainly for playing guitar live, lets say it is a sort of a pedalboard with many capabilities. As I stated bebore the first preset manager (1) is for selecting songs that have their own effects configuration. The second preset manager (2) will control all the effects for the selected song, turn on/off effects, manage combinations of effects, etc.
I have tried turning on and off the preset managers manually, even with some kind of automation but I don't get the desired result which is to ISOLATE each preset manager. The other thing requiered is that every song has its own preset manager (2) configuration and that forces me to have as many presets managers (2) as songs on preset manager (1). So if I have 30 songs I will need to have 30 preset managers (2) for every and each song, that's too many, complex and a lot of work. I would like to achieve this whith just ONE preset manager (2). I know it is a challenge and almost imposible under my understanding, that's why I'm asking the experts, they might have a clue

Well, as far as I know, there's workspace presets (which will affect everything), then there's presets for each rack, and presets for each patch, that's the hierarchy. You can drop presets of any kind to Grid sections for activating bunch of presets at the same time just by triggering needed section. Sections can be triggered by other sections (when they end) or external controls (midi included), you can also either have control for triggering next/previous section or triggering certain section. There's few action types for end of section, I guess you would need a pause at each one so it doesn't retrigger presets that it invokes at activation, so you can switch presets of racks or patches until you need to go next and activate certain configuration of presets. As I've also mentioned. you could also put only needed racks in the grid sections to save CPU and avoid unneeded sounds.
I understand that you may want to improvise and decide to go with current preset for certain patch as you going to proceed to next track, even though you already laid out that preset trigger. well, I haven't looked into ability to disable preset manager temporarily, but it should be possible.
