Hey guys,

can someone please take a look at the basic included 'Midi Expand Voices' factory Script?

There is an option called: "from first".

It should sort the notes, so that the lowest always goes into the first slot.
But it doesn't. When Piano Roll is looping, at every second playthrough
(at least the first two) values get shuffled around.

(Maybe from first means "first note arriving gets priority" but usually it sorts them in ascending order, and the other higher
ones as well so my initial thought should be correct regarding the sorting...)

I need to isolate the lowest note of the chords that I play so that I get the correct transposition in my patch.
Using 'Midi Expand Voices' is the only way I could figure out to do that.

Maybe someone has another idea? Better one/easier one?
Any other way to isolate the lowest note of a polyphonic midi stream?

Best,

tL.

Looks like I got it.
Olis Data Tools are pure gold.
Here the 'poly de-mulitplexer' was essential.

yes, 'from first' means in order the notes are activated, when they're held together. and indeed it was wrong tool for your task.
